Silence
A pump you can't hear at night
It's the first criterion, and the one people discover too late: a noisy fountain ends up unplugged within a week. Its reinforced silent pump, fitted as standard, is made to run continuously.

What matters in a fountain
Silence, first and foremost
A noisy fountain ends up unplugged. Its reinforced silent pump, fitted as standard, is designed to run through the night.
It filters with every pass
Hair, dust and kibble residue are caught instead of circulating round and round the bowl.
Chin and chest kept dry
The splash-guard rim prevents permanently damp fur — crucial for a long-haired cat.
Comes fully apart
Weekly cleaning takes two minutes, otherwise it would never get done.
The moment
Moving water, without you having to insist
Many cats are drawn to water that moves and stays fresh. It isn't a guarantee: some drink more, others don't. But clean, filtered water that's always there gives them every reason to come back to it.
Filtration
What falls in doesn't stay in
Hair, dust, kibble residue: the cartridge catches them with every pass instead of letting them circulate round and round the bowl.

Getting started
-
Rinse the cartridge
Run the filter under cold water before first assembly, to flush out the charcoal particles.
-
Fill, then plug in
Never run the pump dry: fill it first, plug it in afterwards.
-
Keep the old bowl
Keep both for a week and let them choose: many cats take to the moving water, others go back to their bowl.
-
Change the filter
Every two to four weeks, depending on the number of cats.
Frequently asked questions
What people ask us about the silent fountain
My cat is scared of the sound of water.
First place it, switched off, next to their usual water bowl for two days, then switch it on away from where they sleep.
How often should I change the filter?
Every two to four weeks. Sooner if you have several cats or a long-haired cat.
Can it run continuously?
Yes, it's designed to. Just check the water level regularly: a pump that runs dry gets damaged.
Do I need to unplug it to clean it?
Always. Unplug, take apart, rinse, reassemble.
Help them drink more
A silent pump, continuous filtration and water that moves — everything to make them want to drink, without a sound.
