What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. It is used to remember information (basket, preferences) or to measure the audience.
Cookies used on pelux.fr and peluxcat.com
- Strictly necessary — running the site, the basket and secure payment (Shopify). No consent required.
- Audience measurement — Shopify's built-in analytics (visit statistics). Subject to your consent.
- Marketing / advertising — the Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram), the Google tag (Google Shopping, Google Ads) and the Pinterest tag, for conversion tracking and targeted advertising. Subject to your consent.
Your consent
In line with the ePrivacy Directive and the recommendations of the CNIL (the French data protection authority), non-essential cookies (audience measurement, Meta Pixel, Google tag, Pinterest tag) are only placed once you have given your consent through the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie management banner.
Retention period
Cookies last no longer than 13 months; audience data is kept for no longer than 25 months.
